Another pelican shot, just to show you I wasn't kidding that they
all sucked!
Well, they aren't pelicans, but at least this picture of a couple
of the island birds came out decent.
Hmmm... maybe THIS is the best pelican shot I have!
Jim's underwater housing for his camera broke on one of our first
days at the resort. Here he's trying to fix it with Super Glue.
It took him a few tries before he came up with a fix that held up
under the riggers of diving, but he ultimately triumphed.
An action shot of Jeff, sprinting back to the bathroom to deal with
yet another bout of the "turbo-quirts". Just be glad there isn't
any audio to go with this picture!
We had some beautiful sunsets once the weather cleared up and it
wasn't raining so much.
A few minutes later during the same sunset.
Getting ready to leave Utila. That blue truck was our "taxi". I
think 6 people and their gear road in it to the airstrip. All of us
piled into the bed of the truck. And it was raining. I'm certain
that over 1,000 NTSB, OSHA, and DOT regulations must have been broken
in the 10 minutes it took for us to go from the dock to the airport.
Part of the "island charm", I guess.
