Taken from the back porch of my cabana. I think that's the island
of Utila across the water.
This is the opposite site of the Laguna Beach Resort island. It's a
lagoon, and is where the boats dock. That hump of land on the lefthand
side of the picture actually has a name, but I forget it now. It's
just where somebody dumped a bunch of earth when they did some dredging.
My cabana, taken from the little dock attached to it. I had a cabana
all to myself. Pretty plush!
Jeff & Jim stayed in the cabana next door to me. This is a picture
of their place, taken from my little dock. Their cabana was
a duplex, but there wasn't anybody staying in the other half
while we were there.

This was a sort of "courtyard" between our cabins and the ocean-side
beach. It has been raining a lot before we arrived, so there was
a LOT of standing water. This also meant that when it stopped raining
the mosquitos came out IN FORCE!

The main buildings of the resort. The building on the right is
the office, and the one further away on the left is the "great house",
which is where we ate our meals and lounged around. It had a gameroom
with a pool table and satellite TV. No air-conditioning, though.
This is Jeff, on our 2nd or 3rd morning at the resort. We were
surprised to see him, especially with a smile on his face, as he
spent the night suffering from a titanic bout of the "power-squirts".
No, I shan't elaborate.
