The Carro family: Tony, Julia, and Sherry. Awww... aren't they so
wholesome-looking that you just wanna barf?
This is Osman, our tour-guide, standing in front of the bus. Not
sure who those two on the left are....
One of the villages we passed on the bus. We dubbed this one "Venice"
because it's right on the water and boats seem to be the main mode
of transportation.
Here's a better shot of the village.
This is a shot of the "party boat". Apparently, when someone wants
to have a rowdy party, they can hire this boat. Then they can drift
off into the ocean where the party won't bother anyone.
We visited an Iguana farm for awhile. Here's one of them, raising
his head to "check us out".
This one is a little tough to see, but I had to take this picture.
The iguana was hiding himself in the tiny sliver of shadow made by
the tree, trying to keep cool in the mid-day heat.
Here's a pretty good shot. I almost got the entire body plus tail in
the picture this time.
Our last night together we went out to eat at a really nice restuarant.
This was the "seafood special" platter. And it was actually bigger
than this picture makes it look!
... and yes, Jim DID finish the whole thing! Hey, by the way, who is
that showing off their "rocks" on the right of the picture?
